Myanmar National Working as Translator Brutally Assaulted in Thailand Over Wage Dispute

A 27-year-old Myanmar national working as a translator in a Thai construction site was brutally assaulted by his Chinese employer and associates. The incident, linked to a wage dispute, left the victim severely injured. Thai activist Gun Jompalang is assisting the victim, and police investigations are underway in Rayong province.
