Environmental Crime Police Strengthen Ties with People Through Memorials and Service

The Environmental Crime Police (C05) under Vietnam's Ministry of Public Security has organized a series of activities to express gratitude and respect towards the people, coinciding with the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27) and the 20th anniversary of the department's establishment, embodying the nation's traditional "drinking water, remembering its source" ethos. A delegation led by Major General Than Van Hai, Director of C05, visited the Thuan Thanh War Invalids and Martyrs Recuperation Center in Bac Ninh province. They met with and presented gifts to severely wounded war veterans and martyrs. Major General Hai emphasized that the resilience of these veterans serves as an invaluable practical lesson for every C05 officer, deepening their understanding of peace's value and strengthening their political resolve. This encounter is expected to reinforce their commitment to preventing crime and protecting the environment, national resources, and food safety for the people. Furthermore, the C05 Youth Union and Women's Association, in coordination with the Department of Construction and Barracks Management (H02), the Mobile Police Command (Regiment 12), and the People's Committee of Tay Tuu Ward, Hanoi, held a memorial ceremony at the Nhon War Cemetery. Participants offered incense and flowers to the fallen heroes. Following the ceremony, youth and women union members actively participated in cleaning and maintaining the cemetery grounds. This initiative serves as a concrete act of gratitude and educates the younger generation on their responsibility towards preserving memorial sites. These activities transcend mere ceremonies, serving as profound political education. Participants are fostering pride in the nation's history, learning revolutionary traditions, and enhancing their sense of responsibility to serve the people. Through these experiences, C05 officers are cultivating a greater appreciation for national history and strengthening their commitment to caring for policy beneficiaries and revolutionary contributors, especially within the People's Police force. These heartfelt acts of gratitude are a significant driving force for the C05 to unite, act proactively, innovate, overcome all difficulties, and successfully fulfill its mission of protecting the environment, national resources, ensuring food safety, and bringing a peaceful and happy life to the people.
