Cambodia Introduces Military Service Law, PM Calls it Investment in National Defense

Cambodia has begun procedures to implement a conscription system for men aged 18-25. Prime Minister Hun Manet described it as an "investment in strengthening national defense capabilities," aiming to foster discipline and responsibility in youth. Approximately 3,000 individuals applied for registration on the first day.
