Thai Southern Terror Incident: One Suspect Arrested, Accomplices Pursued

According to the Deputy Spokesperson for the Internal Security Operations Command (ISOC) Region 4 Forward Command, the Narathiwat Provincial Court issued an arrest warrant on July 24, 2024, for a suspect identified as Azizan (surname withheld). Law enforcement is actively pursuing his apprehension. Additionally, the court is being petitioned to issue another arrest warrant for a second individual whose involvement has been linked to the incident through evidence. Three individuals suspected of involvement have been brought in for questioning. One of them has been cleared and released after no direct evidence linked them to the attack. The other two remain under questioning as part of the ongoing investigation. Preliminary forensic analysis of the firearms used in the attack indicates a connection to several previous security-related cases.
