Anutin Denies Party Rift Rumors, Emphasizes Unity

Thai Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, who also leads the Bhumjaithai Party, has strongly refuted media reports and speculation about a rift within his party. When questioned by reporters about a recent photograph posted on his personal Facebook page, featuring him alongside Mr. Newin Chidchob, Chairman of Buriram United Football Club, and Mr. Pipat Ratchakitprakarn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport and a key figure in the Bhumjaithai Party, concerning the atmosphere and whether any reconciliation had taken place, Anutin Charnvirakul responded with laughter. He retorted, "Help me understand why you ask questions that sow division. Tell me, why is reconciliation necessary?" He further stated, "Do you live in my house? If not, you don't need to ask. This is my household's matter, my party's internal affair. It's not for anyone else to know about." He emphasized that internal party issues are resolved within the party itself and are not for external parties to interfere with. Regarding a message posted by Mrs. Karuna Chidchob, Mr. Newin's wife, which read along the lines of "cut off the cunning, keep the good, discard the treacherous. Grow up and don't be complicated," Anutin Charnvirakul asked, "Is she wrong?" He questioned the credibility of individuals who deceive the public, spread false information, act as political analysts solely for attention, and cannot even manage their own businesses.
