Prime Energy, SPPC Ink Malampaya Gas Deal for Ilijan Plant
Prime Energy, operator of the Malampaya gas-to-power project, has signed a deal to supply indigenous natural gas to South Premiere Power Corporation's (SPPC) Ilijan Power Plant. The agreement, effective from September 2026 to February 2027, is expected to replace more expensive imported fuel and lower electricity prices for consumers.
