Starting from the 2025 admission cycle, HUST will implement a score adjustment of 0.5 points between different subject combinations (e.g., A00, A01, D07, K01 versus D01, D04) as per Ministry of Education and Training regulations. For instance, if the cutoff score for a program using combination D01 is 24.86, the score for the same program using combination K01 will be 25.36. This year, HUST plans to recruit 9,880 students, an increase of about 200 compared to last year. Admissions will be based on three methods: talent-based admission, aptitude assessment tests, and high school graduation exam scores. Tuition fees for the current year have not yet been announced. Last year, tuition ranged from 28 to 90 million VND (approximately $1,100 to $3,500 USD) depending on the program, with standard programs costing between 28 and 35 million VND.
