During an unannounced inspection of the Tuol Kok Health Center on July 16, the Minister observed that while there were some positive aspects in the healthcare services provided, further efforts were needed from both the health center and the district health office. He noted that the infrastructure, buildings, and environment were adequate, service provision was average, and community-based activities such as maternal and child health consultations were active. However, improvements in hygiene and environment were rated as moderate, and the organization and orderliness required further enhancement. The Minister continued that infrastructure improvements were needed in many areas, including buildings, electrical systems, and enhancing the aesthetics of green spaces. He also stressed the importance of proper medication storage, improving the professional ethics of healthcare staff, ensuring they wear uniforms at all times, especially during service delivery, and strictly maintaining patient confidentiality, given the essential services the health center provides to the public.
