PNP: Focus Crimes Down 29.75% in Q3 2026
The Philippine National Police (PNP) announced a 29.75% decrease in focus crimes during the third quarter of 2026 (July-September) compared to the same period last year. A total of 7,233 cases were recorded for eight serious offenses, including robbery, theft, and murder, a significant drop from 10,296 cases in 2025. The PNP attributes this improvement to sustained police operations and crime prevention programs.
