Chinese Media Expert Explains Advanced Media Strategies for ASEAN

In Beijing, China, Professor CHEN Qiang from the Communication University of China delivered a lecture titled "New Media to Promote High-Quality Industrial Development" to media professionals from ASEAN countries during an international training session. The lecture focused on modern media management, technological support, and future trends. Professor Chen highlighted five key points and practical experiences for the participants: 1. Platform Operation & Channel Matrix: Focusing on owned platform development, differentiated social media operation strategies for platforms like WeChat, Weibo, and TikTok, and creating synergy between various distribution channels. 2. Data Feedback & Optimization Loop: Utilizing a KPI system, conducting regular testing, and employing a data-driven decision process to continuously drive progress in media work. 3. Technology Support System: Establishing a robust central infrastructure for data management and operations, and integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance work efficiency and user experience. 4. In-depth Domestic Cases: Studying domestic integration of media for joint broadcasting in major programs and events. 5. Future Trends: Exploring new technologies and strengthening media integration towards intelligence and understanding of practical contexts. The international training session was organized with the aim of strengthening cooperation and enhancing the professional capabilities of media experts in the ASEAN region. Professor CHEN Qiang's presentation offered broad knowledge and perspectives on the flexibility, the use of modern technology, and the self-development of media institutions to respond to the high-quality industrial development trends of the current era.
