Thu Uyen, 29, a co-founder and CEO of a tech-related company, has been selected to represent Vietnam at the upcoming Miss Earth 2026 pageant. The announcement was made on July 4 at a press conference in Ho Chi Minh City by the organization holding the rights to send Vietnamese contestants to Miss Earth. Uyen, who was a Top 5 finalist in the Miss FPT University pageant, will participate in the 26th edition of Miss Earth in November in the Philippines. Uyen, originally from Hai Phong, graduated with a degree in Business Administration. She stands at 1.7 meters tall with measurements of 84-61-94 cm. Currently working in the health and beauty sector, she was also a delegate at the Global Young Intellectual Forum Vietnam in 2021. Her pageant experience includes a Top 5 finish at Miss FPT University, Top 15 in Miss Student Vietnam, Top 20 in Miss Vietnam Photo 2017, Top 16 in Miss Universe Vietnam 2022, and the Second Runner-up title in Miss Tourism Vietnam Global 2024. Her dual role as a tech entrepreneur has earned her the nickname "Miss Tech."
