This weather pattern is attributed to a low-pressure system in the Western Pacific that has developed into Tropical Storm Dujuan (T2625), influencing the southwest monsoon that affects the Bay of Bengal, Andaman Sea, South China Sea, Mekong River Basin, Cambodian Sea, and the Kingdom of Cambodia. The Kingdom of Cambodia is not in the direct path of this storm. According to the meteorological bulletin from the Ministry of Water Resources, the following conditions are forecast: Lowland areas: Provinces such as Banteay Meanchey, Battambang, Pursat, Kampong Chhnang, Siem Reap, Kampong Thom, Kampong Cham, Tboung Khmum, Prey Veng, Svay Rieng, Takeo, Kandal, and the capital city of Phnom Penh may experience rain with thunderstorms and gusty winds covering 50% of the area. The average minimum temperature will be 25°C and the average maximum temperature will be 33°C, with winds from the southwest and northwest blowing at an average speed of 3 meters per second. Highland areas: Provinces such as Kampong Speu, Pailin, Oddar Meanchey, Preah Vihear, Kratie, Stung Treng, Ratanakiri, Mondulkiri, the Dangrek Mountains, and the Cardamom Mountains may experience rain with thunderstorms and gusty winds covering 70% of the area. The average minimum temperature will be 24°C and the average maximum temperature will be 31°C, with winds from the northwest and west blowing at an average speed of 5 meters per second. Coastal areas: Provinces such as Koh Kong, Preah Sihanouk, Kampot, Kep, and the Bokor Mountains may experience rain with thunderstorms and gusty winds covering 60% of the area. The average minimum temperature will be 25°C and the average maximum temperature will be 34°C, with winds from the southwest and southeast blowing at an average speed of 3 meters per second.
