LPA, Habagat to Bring Rains to Parts of Luzon, Visayas

A low pressure area (LPA) inside the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) and the southwest monsoon (locally known as habagat) are expected to bring rains over parts of Luzon and the Visayas within 24 hours, the state weather bureau announced. The weather bulletin was based on satellite imagery captured as of 6:40 p.m. on August 4.
