Unlicensed 'Healer' Arrested for Fraudulent Sale of Homemade Herbal Medicine

An unlicensed man in Bac Ninh province, Vietnam, has been arrested for defrauding hundreds of patients of approximately VND 1 billion (USD 40,000) using homemade herbal medicine. He allegedly offered treatments for congenital deafness and autism at his 'spiritual facility,' demanding long-term treatment and the purchase of his concoctions.
