The fire was classified as Level 1, the stage at which fire engines are dispatched for extinguishment. The fire was brought under control at 8:41 PM and extinguished at 8:45 PM. The cause of the fire was determined to be a loose Per Light bulb socket installed in the ceiling of the "Bar 4 U" restaurant, which sparked and ignited the soundproofing foam board next to the bulb, leading to the fire. As a result of the fire, four shop units, including the "Bar 4 U" restaurant, as well as the adjacent Phone bank phone sales shop, the organic spicy mala shan khao shop, and the Win Star restaurant, along with their contents, were affected by the fire. Regarding the fire, the owner of Bar 4 U, U Sai Naw (son of U Htwe Aung), aged 36, has been charged by the Sanchaung Myoma Police Station under Section (P) 373/2026, Sections (285/304-A).
