Mekong, July 14 The Shan State Progress Party (SSPP/SSA) announced on July 13 that it will continue to seek solutions to political problems through political means. This point was included in the five future work plans released by the SSPP after the first six-month Central Committee meeting of 2026. The statement said that the SSPP will continue to seek and resolve the actual political problems existing within the Union through political means by contacting and coordinating with related organizations to ensure regional peace and public security. Furthermore, the SSPP stated that it will conduct special strict monitoring to prevent online financial fraud and related criminal offenses within its territories.
