Quang Tri Traffic Police Assist in Emergency Medical Escort
In Vietnam's central Quang Tri province, traffic police officers provided escort for a vehicle carrying a critically ill patient to the hospital, highlighting the force's role in community safety and welfare.
In Vietnam's central Quang Tri province, the actions of traffic police officers contributing to community safety and welfare have been reported. On July 18, a patrol team from the No. 2 Unit of the Provincial Traffic Police provided escort and guidance for a vehicle carrying a patient during an emergency transport. This incident demonstrates that the Quang Tri Provincial Police are actively involved not only in ensuring traffic safety but also in saving citizens' lives. In the province, there have been previous reports of traffic police officers assisting in emergency childbirths for mothers en route to the hospital, earning them the trust of local residents. Traffic police in Vietnam go beyond just enforcing traffic laws, providing a wide range of public services such as initial response during accidents and, as in this case, escorting emergency vehicles. This can be interpreted as part of the policies under Vietnam's one-party system, which emphasizes maintaining social order and stabilizing citizens' lives. As Vietnam continues its economic growth, traffic volume, especially in urban areas, is increasing, making the role of traffic police ever more crucial. Furthermore, in relations with China, maintaining stability in border areas is also a significant task. Source: Nhan Dan
