Hanoi West Sees Launch of $2 Billion Eco-Urban Project, Drawing Eyes to Vietnam's Real Estate Market

The groundbreaking ceremony for Noble Rivera, a large-scale integrated development project, was held on August 1, 2026, in the western part of Vietnam's capital, Hanoi. This project, undertaken by Sunshine Group, involves a total investment of $2 billion and covers an area of nearly 250 hectares along Tay Thang Long Boulevard. The event was attended by Hanoi city leaders, relevant authorities, local representatives, and executives from Sunshine Group. Mr. Do Van Truong, Vice Chairman of Sunshine Group, stated that Noble Rivera is not merely a real estate project but a long-term investment commitment aimed at creating new growth poles in Hanoi, particularly in its western region. He expressed the ambition to create a true eco-urban development that harmonizes modern infrastructure, vast green spaces, waterfront landscapes, and international-standard services. This initiative is expected to expand Hanoi's development space westward and enhance the quality of life for its residents. Noble Rivera is strategically located on Tay Thang Long Boulevard, identified as one of Hanoi's key development axes. This boulevard, scheduled for completion in 2027, will serve as a crucial link connecting the city center with new urban, economic, and technological hubs in the west. The project offers excellent connectivity, with easy access to National Highway 32, Ring Road 4, Hong Ha Bridge, Van Phuc Bridge, and Metro lines 3 and 8. It is approximately 15 minutes to West Lake, 20 minutes to My Dinh, and about 30 minutes to Hoan Kiem Lake or Noi Bai International Airport. A significant feature of the project is its rare 11km riverfront location in western Hanoi, complemented by a waterfront landscape featuring 14 internal lakes. Situated amidst the Red River and Day River green corridors, this setting is expected to provide natural climate regulation and a resort-like living environment. The approximately 2,000 villas to be developed will be exceptionally large, with some spanning up to 2,000-2,500 square meters. They will feature a design blending European classical architecture with Eastern aesthetics, incorporating private swimming pools, expansive gardens, and dedicated wellness spaces, all managed by 5-star international brands. The project will also include numerous communal facilities such as wellness centers, commercial areas, sports facilities, healthcare services, and cultural spaces. Advanced smart home and smart living technologies, powered by AI, will be integrated. Notable amenities include a musical fountain square, a 5-star clubhouse, international schools, and an international hospital. Specifically, the 11km riverfront will host unique recreational offerings like cycling paths, camping grounds, and spaces for cultural and artistic performances, providing an immersive experience connecting residents with nature. Sunshine Group currently has approximately 20 projects under development, with a total value of nearly VND 300 trillion (approximately $12 billion) including land use rights, primarily concentrated in Hanoi and Hung Yen province. In addition to Noble Rivera, other projects like Noble Palace Garden and Palace Tay Thang Long WorldHotels Residences are also progressing in the Tay Thang Long area. With the advancement of these developments and supporting infrastructure, the region is anticipated to see a surge in commerce, services, and employment, attracting high-quality capital and residents.
