Prabowo Orders Completion of 5,000 Village Bridges by Year-End

Indonesian Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto has ordered the completion of 5,000 village bridges currently under construction across the country by the end of the year. This project aims to improve inter-regional access and foster economic development. While reviewing the progress of bridge construction, Minister Prabowo emphasized the importance of supporting regions where infrastructure development has been lagging. Bridges not only facilitate people's movement but are also crucial for the smooth transportation of agricultural products and goods, thereby vitalizing local economies. As a vast archipelago nation, Indonesia faces challenges in infrastructure development, particularly in its bridge and road networks in certain regions.
