Phanat Nikhom Floods Not Caused by Reservoir Release, Dam Director States Amidst Chonburi Deluge

Amidst widespread flooding in Chonburi due to days of monsoon rain, the director of Khlong Luang Ratchalothorn Reservoir has denied that water releases from the dam caused floods in Phanat Nikhom and surrounding districts. He stated the reservoir still has spare capacity and no water was released. The province is assessing damage and investigating the cause.
