Cambodia Designates Four Northeastern Provinces as Priority Economic Development Zones

The Cambodian government has identified the four northeastern provinces of Stung Treng, Ratanakiri, Mondulkiri, and Kratié as priority areas for national socio-economic development. Prime Minister Hun Manet announced the intention to reduce the development gap with the central regions through focused investment and development in these provinces.
