Dupax District Hospital Launches P85-M Expansion to Boost Bed Capacity

DUPAX District Hospital in Nueva Vizcaya has begun an P85-million expansion to address growing patient demand and reduce facility congestion. The project includes a three-storey multipurpose ward building, which will eventually add 89 beds to the hospital’s 25-bed capacity. “It will bring better and more accessible healthcare to residents of Dupax del Norte and neighboring municipalities,” Governor Jose V. Gambito said in a statement. Provincial Engineer Jerry A. Tan said the first phase will add 66 beds. The expansion coincides with a P9-million dialysis center and P25 million in Department of Health funding for an auxiliary building.
