ILIGAN CITY – Soldiers from the Army’s 28th Infantry Battalion (28 IB) who arrived on August 6 in Malabang, Lanao del Sur, underwent a cultural sensitivity seminar on Saturday, as part of their preparations to serve during the first regional parliamentary elections in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) on September 14. The seminar is designed to foster understanding and respect for the local culture among the troops, aiming to ensure a harmonious and effective deployment during the election period. This initiative underscores the military's commitment to building trust and positive relationships with the communities in BARMM, a region known for its diverse cultural and religious tapestry.
