Hanoi Leads Local Innovation Index Again in 2026
Hanoi has maintained its top position with 63.80 points in Vietnam's 2026 Provincial Innovation and Creativity Index (PII), according to the Ministry of Science and Technology. Ho Chi Minh City and Hai Phong followed in second and third place, highlighting the innovation drive in key urban centers. Vietnam's overall Global Innovation Index (GII) also saw an improvement.
