Dr. Chheang Ra, Minister of Health, paid an unannounced visit to the Tok Vil Health Center in Siem Reap province on the afternoon of Wednesday, August 5, 2026, to inspect mental health services and drug abuse prevention efforts. During the inspection, the Minister observed that the health center's staff were actively engaged in their duties, demonstrating good hospitality, polite speech, and high ethical standards. He noted their effective information gathering, clear explanations, and well-maintained infrastructure. The Minister instructed the center to increase its focus on providing mental health services and addressing drug abuse. He also emphasized the need for continued educational activities on drug addiction recovery methods and encouraged the medical team to pursue further training to collaborate with specialists at national hospitals. On this occasion, the Minister received feedback from local residents receiving healthcare services at the center.
