Around-the-World Cyclist Completes Mission for Cambodian Children, Raising Over $260,000

On the afternoon of July 21, 2026, Cambodia's Minister of Information, H.E. Net Phakthra, received Tiv Tararith, an independent adventurer and cyclist from Cambodia. Mr. Tararith paid a courtesy call and received encouragement after successfully completing his around-the-world cycling mission. The meeting took place at the Wooden Palace Hall of the Ministry of Information. Mr. Tiv Tararith's extraordinary two-year mission was conducted under the "Cycling Around the World for Cambodian Children" campaign. He traveled a total distance of 60,000 kilometers, crossing 40 countries to raise funds for humanitarian causes. Through his efforts, he successfully raised $260,243.57 USD. The funds raised from this mission will be provided to Angkor Hospital for Children and the Kantha Bopha Foundation Cambodia to support and sustain the medical examination, treatment, and care of Cambodian children. H.E. Minister Net Phakthra praised Mr. Tiv Tararith's spirit of sacrifice and his commitment to contributing to the nation, especially for the well-being of Cambodian children. This meeting also served to encourage Mr. Tiv Tararith to continue his mission for the cause of Cambodian children in the future.
