Pattaya Police Heighten Vigilance Over Kuwaiti Youth Motorcycle Gatherings

Pattaya police have increased security measures to maintain public order and prevent disturbances linked to motorcycle gatherings involving groups of young Kuwaiti tourists in the city. At 7 a.m. on July 29, Pol. Lt. Col. Peerayut Borisuttham, deputy inspector of crime prevention and suppression at Pattaya City Police Station, led officers from the prevention and suppression unit, traffic police and patrol teams in a field operation to monitor high-risk areas. The operation involved patrol officers, traffic police and local security teams who were briefed before being deployed to key locations around Pattaya. Officers focused their efforts on the Blue Square area at Bali Hai Pier, a popular tourist location with heavy visitor traffic. Police monitored the area to prevent crime, maintain safety and discourage motorcycle gatherings that could cause public disturbance or affect residents and visitors. The move forms part of Pattaya City Police Station’s proactive measures to strengthen security, improve public confidence and maintain the city’s reputation as a safe destination for both Thai and international tourists.
