MILF, Gov't Peace Office Forge Pact for BARMM Election Security
The Philippines' Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace Reconciliation and Unity and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) have signed an agreement to cooperate in ensuring peaceful elections on September 14 in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM). Security forces have also voiced support for the initiative.
