Subsequent investigations revealed that Ms. Sirilak was responsible for procuring the bag used to conceal the drugs and delivering it to the transporter. Evidence was gathered to secure an arrest warrant, leading to her apprehension in the Thanyaburi district of Pathum Thani province. In the second case, the AITF, in conjunction with the Chokchai Police Station, arrested Ms. Nan Khaing Tha Zin, a national of Myanmar, under an arrest warrant issued by the Central Tax Court on July 8, 2024. She faces charges including conspiracy to attempt to export Type 1 narcotic drugs (heroin) out of the Kingdom for trade, conspiracy to distribute Type 1 narcotic drugs, and exporting goods out of the Kingdom without undergoing customs procedures.
