Vietnam Boosts Security and Rescue Sectors with Technological Innovations

At Secutech+ Vietnam 2026, HTI Group introduced an ecosystem of technological products researched, developed, and mastered by Vietnamese engineers. These solutions span security, surveillance, fire prevention and fighting, and rescue operations, incorporating artificial intelligence (AI) and digital technologies. The group also received a Certificate of Commendation from the Minister of Science and Technology on the occasion of its 10th anniversary. This recognizes HTI Group's pioneering achievements with "Make in Vietnam" products. Notably, the Horus P02, a product representing "Vietnamese intellect," was highlighted, symbolizing the aspiration for innovation. This presentation underscores Vietnam's commitment to strengthening its domestic technological development capabilities and enhancing self-reliance in critical sectors such as security and disaster response. Under its one-party system, the Vietnamese government prioritizes national capacity building through technological innovation, alongside economic growth. AI and digitalization are strategic priorities for modernizing defense, economy, and social infrastructure. Technological independence is also crucial from a national security perspective, especially given Vietnam's complex relationship with China.
