Dong Nai Province Urgently Seeks Witnesses for Martyr Remains Collection

Following the discovery of suspected martyr remains and numerous artifacts in Minh Duc commune, Dong Nai Province, the province is now urgently seeking witnesses to aid in the collection and identification of these remains. The search operation is being led by the Dong Nai City Steering Committee for the Collection and Identification of Martyr Remains (Steering Committee 515). The committee is strongly appealing for information from individuals who witnessed the events or from the families of fallen soldiers to facilitate a smooth collection process and ensure accurate identification of the fallen. Minh Duc commune was one of the areas that experienced intense fighting during the Vietnam War. The artifacts discovered may include items believed to have been used by soldiers at the time. Authorities hope these findings will serve as crucial clues in uncovering the war's history and returning the remains of many unidentified martyrs to their families. In Vietnam, the collection and identification of remains of soldiers who went missing during the war have been ongoing efforts since the conflict's end.
