It is known that discussions were held between the two countries to enhance cooperation in the technology sector for electricity and energy matters. Union Minister for Electricity and Energy, U Ko Ko Lwin, who is part of the Myanmar delegation staying in Vladivostok city to attend the 11th Eastern Economic Forum to be held in Vladivostok city, Russian Federation, held discussions with the delegation led by Mr. Samatsov Dinov, Executive Secretary of the Russia-ASEAN Business Council, at a building within the Russian Far Eastern Federal University campus at 1:00 PM local time on September 2. During the meeting, discussions were held on selecting Myanmar, which is strategically located for economic cooperation between ASEAN and Russia, and continuing cooperation, enhancing cooperation in the technology sector for electricity and energy matters between Russia and Myanmar, working towards further development of high-tech robotic businesses and digital technology-based businesses in the industrial sector, further cooperation in banking, education, and healthcare services businesses, online trade business sectors, and tourism business sectors using digital technology, and investing in socio-economic business matters. It is known that Deputy Minister for Digital Development and Communications, U Min Zeyar Hlaing, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, U Ko Ko Kyaw, and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Myanmar to the Russian Federation, U Myo Myo Aung, and responsible officials attended the meeting. After the meeting, Union Minister U Ko Ko Lwin participated in an interview program with RADIO SPUTNIK of the Russian Federation at a building within the Russian Far Eastern Federal University campus.
