Yangon, June 21 It has been revealed through a statement from the Yesagyo Township Info Committee and testimonies from local residents that a military patrol unit that came out from Yesagyo town in Magway Region abducted and beat five 13-year-old students, causing them severe injuries. Around 10 AM on June 1, a column of the terrorist military, which had come out from Yesagyo town in a drunken state, arrived near Kyawmajar village and abducted five 13-year-old students who were herding cattle in the fields, and then beat them collectively without any reason. It is known that the children who were abducted and beaten by the soldiers are students attending G-7 and G-8 at Yesagyo Township High School, and they had come out to herd cattle to help their parents with their work during the school holidays. Furthermore, it is reported that the soldiers made the children lie face down on the ground and stepped on their heads. The children's uncle witnessed this abuse and pleaded with the soldiers on his knees, but they did not release them for a considerable time and only let them go after torturing them to their satisfaction.
