Vietnam's Top Leader Visits France to Boost Space, Economic Ties

Vietnam's top leader has arrived in Paris for an official visit to France. This visit reaffirms the high priority Vietnam places on the Vietnam–France Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. It also serves as an opportunity to connect France’s strengths in science, technology, innovation, and strategic technology sectors with Vietnam’s emerging development needs. The visit is expected to contribute to the deepening of economic relations between the two countries. Cooperation in space exploration, in particular, holds significant importance for Vietnam as it seeks to accelerate its scientific and technological development. France, being a leading nation in space technology, can share its experience and knowledge, helping Vietnam strengthen its domestic technological foundation. Experts note that cooperation in core technology sectors will open new avenues for bilateral relations. Under Vietnam's one-party system, the foreign policy activities of national leaders are closely linked to the country's long-term development strategy.
