Thailand to Amend Outdated Laws Hindering Business, Targeting 7 Industries First

The Thai government will meet with the Joint Standing Committee on Commerce, Industry and Banking (JSCCIB) on June 10 to discuss amendments to outdated sub-laws hindering business. Seven key industries will be prioritized to receive specific proposals for improvement from the private sector. Public opinion will also be solicited before the cabinet approves the changes, prompting relevant ministries to expedite amendments.
