The explosion targeted the security gate of the Insein Myoma Police Station, located beside the main Aung Mingalar Road in Insein Township, around 7:30 PM yesterday (July 21). "Last night, the power went out and it was raining, so we were worried about equipment errors. But we were able to carry it out successfully. We saw one person fall. We don't know the details this morning," said the YA official. It was announced that the attack on the security gate in front of the Insein Myoma Police Station involved attaching two hand grenades to a high-power bomb. Following the attack, junta forces conducted roadblocks and inspections. Mizzima has not yet been able to independently confirm the attack by YA forces on junta troops at the Insein Myoma Police Station and the extent of the casualties. Junta propaganda Telegram channels have been releasing statements claiming that the incident of the Insein police station being attacked last night is false news. Following the arrest of a YA force member, a Yangon-based urban guerrilla group, by junta forces in February, YA's urban activities had temporarily subsided. "Around the end of February, a YA comrade was arrested while making a delivery. He was tortured and died during interrogation. The remaining comrades had to go into hiding," said the YA official. However, it has been announced that they are now operating normally and will resume urban attacks. "We want to inform everyone that YA, along with the Western District PDF, will continue to fight side-by-side against the junta's dog troops in Yangon as before. We ask you to look forward to it with excitement," he said. Despite the junta's heavy security presence in Yangon, which is controlled by the quasi-military regime, urban guerrilla attacks by People's Defence Forces (PDFs) continue to occur frequently.
