Cambodia Reviews 3 Years of Rural Development Achievements

A draft report summarizing the achievements in the field of rural development over the past three years of the 7th mandate of the National Assembly was reviewed on Wednesday afternoon, September 16, 2026, at the Ministry's headquarters. The meeting was led by H.E. Chhay Rithisen, Minister of Rural Development, with the participation of H.E. the Permanent Secretary of State, Excellencies, Ladies and Gentlemen, leadership of the Ministry, as well as Directors and technical officials from all departments of the Ministry of Rural Development. The meeting meticulously reviewed and discussed the draft report prepared by the relevant departments, and provided further important input, making the report of achievements more comprehensive. H.E. the Minister emphasized that these achievements reflect the effectiveness with which the Ministry of Rural Development has been and is carrying out its functions and responsibilities responsibly, contributing to the achievement of the goals of the first phase of the government's "Pentagonal Strategy" during the 7th mandate of the National Assembly, under the wise and dynamic leadership of Samdech Moha Bovor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
