Former Deputy Minister of Labour faces appeal trial for bribery
Nguyen Ba Hoan, former Deputy Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, is set to face an appeal trial after being convicted of bribery. The Hanoi appellate court of the Supreme People's Court will hear the case, where Hoan received a 12-year prison sentence. Some other defendants have also filed appeals.
