Fuel illegally withdrawn by duplicating the Wheel Tax of a rescue vehicle from Maha Aung Myay Auxiliary Fire Station in Mandalay City

An incident where fuel was illegally withdrawn by duplicating the Wheel Tax of a rescue vehicle from the Maha Aung Myay Auxiliary Fire Station in Mandalay City occurred on September 23rd, according to a statement released by the fire station. Regarding the incident, the Maha Aung Myay Fire Station issued a notification to fuel business owners on its social media page, stating that it would contact and take action through the relevant authorities regarding the illicit withdrawal and usage. The incident involved a rescue vehicle from the Maha Aung Myay Township, Ratana Bhumi West Auxiliary Fire Station in Mandalay Region, which went to purchase diesel fuel at the Regency (MEC) fuel station located at the intersection of 78th and 40th Streets around 6 PM on September 23rd. When scanned with the vehicle's identification certificate (Wheel Tax), it showed that approximately 196 liters (about 50 gallons) had already been withdrawn by the current fire department rescue vehicle, number 7K-6714, at the Lotaya (2) fuel station in Chanmyathazi Township about 30 minutes prior, and therefore, it was not allowed to purchase, according to the statement. Therefore, the auxiliary fire brigade office announced on the evening of September 24th that it would contact and take action through the relevant authorities regarding the illicit withdrawal and usage of the vehicle's identification certificate of the current fire rescue vehicle number 7K-6714, whether it be a duplicate, copy, or forgery. It also requested that fuel stations not sell to any civilian vehicles arriving to purchase with the number 7K-6714 and instead contact and inform the Maha Aung Myay Township Auxiliary Fire Brigade Office at 09422888191.
