Vietnam's Military Medical Academy Admits 257 Civilian Students

Vietnam's Military Medical Academy (Học viện Quân y), operating under the Ministry of National Defense, officially welcomed 257 new civilian students for the 2026 academic year on September 8th in Hanoi. Among the admitted students, 208 have enrolled in the general medicine program, while 49 have been accepted into the university-level pharmacy program. The academy is actively engaged in reforming its educational curriculum to meet the requirements of the upcoming competency assessment exam for healthcare professionals, which is slated to begin in 2027.
