Thailand Shortens Visa Exemption to 30 Days, Tightens Land Border Entry Limits
Thailand will shorten its visa-exempt stay for many nationalities to 30 days from the previous 60 days starting September 15, 2026. Restrictions on land border crossings will also be tightened, making 'visa runs' for extended stays more difficult.
