TH School Celebrates 10 Years with New Academic Year, Fostering Global Citizens Rooted in Vietnamese Culture

TH School held its new academic year khai giảng (opening ceremony) at its Chùa Bộc campus in Hanoi on September 5, also marking its 10th anniversary with the theme "Constantly Reaching Further." The event was attended by Labor Hero Thái Hương, Founder of TH School and Chairman of the Strategic Council of TH Group, along with representatives from the Fund for Vietnamese Value, TH Group, the Institute of Strategy and Policy under the Ministry of Education and Training, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, local authorities, teachers, parents, and students. A highlight of the ceremony was the flag parade representing the countries of students and teachers at TH School, showcasing cultural diversity and the spirit of respecting differences within the school community. A traditional bell-ringing ceremony also marked the opening of the 2026-2027 academic year. Notably, the "Made in Vietnam" performance, featuring students using traditional Vietnamese instruments like drums, Đàn tranh, and Đàn T’rưng, resonated with national pride. TH School's Headmaster, Mr. Tom Pado, stated that this performance clearly embodies the school's educational philosophy of building an open international educational environment while maintaining connections with Vietnamese language, culture, and identity. In her khai giảng speech, Labor Hero Thái Hương expressed her hope that students would develop not only knowledge but also a broad mindset to explore the world, a humane spirit of love and sharing, and pride in their origins. "I hope these values will become the luggage accompanying you on every path ahead. Go confidently, pursue your dreams boldly, and become true global citizens; but no matter where you are, always carry with you the love for your homeland and the aspiration to create good values," she emphasized. Over the past decade, TH School has aimed to build an educational environment that combines the world's advanced educational programs with Vietnam's curriculum. The school currently hosts students and teachers from over 40 countries and pursues a comprehensive education model that emphasizes knowledge, physical health, emotions, and character, with the goal of providing a foundation for students to develop their academic abilities and adapt to international environments. Graduate outcomes have also been a significant achievement. According to school representatives, graduates have been accepted into over 150 universities in 17 countries. For the 2025-2026 academic year alone, 100% of TH School graduates were admitted to universities domestically and internationally, with over 50% receiving scholarships. Alongside program development, TH School has expanded its training models to meet diverse learning needs. The 80/20 model integrates internationally recognized curricula, with 80% of instruction in English and 20% dedicated to Vietnamese education taught in Vietnamese. The Hòa Lạc campus implements a boarding model, fostering student independence, responsibility, and life skills. TH School Vinh offers the Cambridge program, enabling students in the central region to access international education locally. The school currently offers four scholarship programs for Vietnamese and international students: the "Future Cultivation Scholarship," the "True Happiness Scholarship," the "Vietnamese Culture Scholarship," and the "Diplomacy Scholarship," providing support of up to 70%. Looking ahead to the 2026-2027 academic year, TH School plans to further refine its programs and learning environment for holistic development, expanding opportunities for students to access international education while maintaining their connection to Vietnamese culture. "The first ten years were a journey of laying the foundation. With the spirit of 'Constantly Reaching Further,' TH School will continue to innovate and improve, setting higher standards and aiming for greater objectives," a school representative stated.
