Cambodia's New Government Prioritizes Citizen Welfare and Economic Resilience, Minister Affirms
Kae Kym Yan, a standing committee member of the Cambodian People's Party (CPP), stated that the new government led by Prime Minister Hun Manet prioritizes national interests and citizen welfare, focusing on strengthening household economies to foster high-quality human resources and well-being. The remarks were made during a meeting with party officials in Mongkol Borei district, Banteay Meanchey province.
Kae Kym Yan, a standing committee member of the Cambodian People's Party (CPP) and head of the party's working group in Banteay Meanchey province, stated that the new government led by Prime Minister Hun Manet prioritizes national interests and is strengthening the country's economic resilience. He made these remarks on July 26 during a meeting with party officials, youth, and village party branch members in Mongkol Borei district, Banteay Meanchey province. Kae Kym Yan emphasized that the resilience of household economies serves as the driving force for developing high-quality human resources and ensuring good health and well-being, which are robust assets for maintaining peace, enhancing social, economic, and cultural values, and fostering new ideas. He added that the government aims to build a social protection system that does not abandon any citizen, focusing on interventions for poor and vulnerable families. During the occasion, he conveyed greetings, blessings, admiration, and gratitude from former Prime Minister Hun Sen, the party president, to all party members, leaders of all units, all types of armed forces, and all compatriots throughout Banteay Meanchey province. Kae Kym Yan praised and highly evaluated the achievements of the working group and all party officials in Mongkol Borei district for their contributions to the party and the nation. He urged them to continue providing efficient public services, addressing all requests and demands from the people, cracking down on all offenses, sharing accurate information, and sharing the joys and sorrows with members and citizens at their doorsteps. He stressed that this is essential to continue moving forward together towards the 6th mandate of the commune/sangkat council election to maintain peace, security, development, and tranquility for the people.
