
Indonesia Centralizes Strategic Natural Resource Exports Through State-Owned Enterprises
The Indonesian government has implemented new regulations centralizing the export of strategic natural resources through state-owned enterprises (BUMN). Starting January 1, 2027, exports of coal, palm oil, and ferroalloys will be exclusively handled by designated SOEs.
