Vietnam, Laos Bolster Border Management and Security Cooperation

Vietnam and Laos have agreed to strengthen cooperation in border management and security. Both nations signed memoranda of understanding to enhance coordination in controlling cross-border movement through gates and trails, aiming to promptly detect and handle illegal entries and exits, thereby contributing to political stability and social order in border areas.
