Korat's Maharaj Hospital Conducts Fire Evacuation Drill, Learning from Ban Phaeo Hospital Incident

Maharaj Hospital in Nakhon Ratchasima Province, central Thailand, recently conducted an evacuation plan drill prioritizing patient safety in the event of a fire. The exercise aimed to incorporate lessons learned from a past fire incident at Ban Phaeo Hospital. The drill involved hospital staff confirming procedures for rapid and organized response based on a simulated fire scenario. Particular emphasis was placed on the safe transfer of patients and the protection and relocation of essential supplies such as medicines and medical equipment vital for life support. This is expected to enhance the hospital's emergency response capabilities and minimize the impact on patients.
