The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) reported that the earthquake occurred at 06:21:05 Western Indonesian Time (WIB). The epicenter was located onshore, situated 27 km south of Bandung Regency, at coordinates 7.25 degrees South Latitude and 107.61 degrees East Longitude, with a focal depth of 4 km. The seismic activity was felt with an intensity of III on the Modified Mercalli Intensity (MMI) scale in several areas, including Pangalengan, Talegong, and Cisewu. As of the latest reports, no damage has been reported as a result of this earthquake.
