Ho Chi Minh City to Enhance Quality and Effectiveness of Youth Movement

Ho Chi Minh City convened the 10th Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union on September 11, solidifying its direction to enhance the quality and effectiveness of the youth movement for the new term spanning 2026-2031. The congress underscored the importance of assigning specific tasks to the youth and building a strong foundation for national development. Key priorities included concentrating resources on five crucial projects under the Vietnam Youth Development Strategy 2021-2030, innovating methods for engaging youth, and proactively addressing challenges. The youth movement in Vietnam has historically played a vital role in the construction and development of the socialist republic. Under the Party's guidance, young people have cultivated socialist patriotism and contributed to economic growth, national defense, and social transformation. As Vietnam's economic hub, Ho Chi Minh City aims to accelerate the nation's sustainable development by invigorating this youth movement.
