Cambodian Ministry of Justice Reviews Progress in Six-Month Campaign to Expedite Case Resolution

The Ministry of Justice of Cambodia held a meeting to summarize the results of the implementation of the campaign to promote and accelerate the resolution of legal cases in courts and the campaign to inspect and resolve irregularities in courts during the first six months of 2026. At the meeting held at the Ministry of Justice on July 21, 2026, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice, Kiet Rith, instructed all relevant parties to continue their efforts in promptly, thoroughly, and accurately resolving complaints and requests for intervention for citizens. This aims to strengthen and improve justice services and the quality of justice, especially to strengthen public confidence in the justice sector. Concurrently, the Minister of Justice instructed all levels of courts and prosecutor's offices attached to the courts to continue to pay close attention to handling five priority cases: civil registration, traffic accidents, juvenile delinquency, drug offenses, and technology-based fraud. Through the report on the results of the campaign's implementation, the Minister of Justice acknowledged and highly valued the achievements made by the two campaign implementation mechanisms, as well as all levels of courts and prosecutor's offices attached to the courts, during the first six months of 2026, with a spirit of initiative and high responsibility.
