Vietnam Launches "Vietnamese Workers Say No to Drugs" Campaign

A nationwide campaign, "Vietnamese Workers Say No to Drugs," has been launched across Vietnam with the aim of preventing the proliferation of illicit drugs among the labor force. The campaign is based on the recognition that workers can inadvertently become involved in drug-related offenses due to momentary lapses in vigilance. It seeks to promote correct awareness, early vigilance, and timely action. As part of the initiative, events themed "Vietnamese Workers Resolutely Say No to Drugs" are being held in various locations. Notably, Hai Phong city hosted a festival under this banner, drawing significant participation from workers. Furthermore, legal education is being intensified, with a particular focus on promoting knowledge about drug prevention and eradication laws among youth. Young people in Hai Phong have organized activities to support the campaign in response to the month-long action against drugs. Nhan Dan, the official newspaper of the Communist Party of Vietnam, reports on this campaign as contributing to the safety of workers and the stability of society as a whole.
